"Idaho HIE Selects Axolotl"

The Idaho Health Data Exchange will use secure clinical
messaging software from Axolotl Corp., San Jose, Calif.
The Boise-based HIE’s goal is to connect more than 1,500 physicians, 30 hospitals
and 10 reference laboratories across the state. Sponsors include Saint Alphonsus and
St. Luke’s Hospitals in Boise, Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Blue Cross
of Idaho, Regence Blue Shield, and the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare.
Axolotl has more than a dozen contracts with health information exchanges and regional health information organizations.
