2006 TETHIE Award for the Elysium Chronic
Disease Registry
The innovation winning the award was built upon Axolotl's Elysium
Clinical Messaging application. The baseline Elysium
application delivers lab, radiology, and transcribed reports as
clinical messages from source systems to physician groups throughout
a community. Each clinical message contains discrete result values
that can be queried to identify chronic diseases in patients and
patient populations. The registry is produced automatically, the
first time a query is run, obviating the need for physician input
or structured encounters. The registry is also updated automatically
from newly-arrived clinical messages.
2005 TEPR Transcription Award
The TEPR judges reviewed over 100 applications in seven categories.
Top vendors in each category then presented to an independent panel
of industry experts. Axolotl's robust transcription platform, attention
to customer business needs, experience integrating transcription
into health records, and demonstrable improvements to physician
office and HIM processes all contributed to their selection as the
award winner. The transparency Axolotl provides into transcription
price and quality was also noteworthy.
